As part of a series of Commencement 2016 profiles, Binghamton University profiled graduating mechanical engineering major Ami S. Bhavsar, NY T 2016. As an undergraduate, she served as president of the student chapter of Pi Tau Sigma, vice president of finance for the Mountainview College Council, and dances with the Binghamton Evolution Dance Company.

Krisztina J. Holly, MA B ’89, will be presenting “How To Be The NextGen 3D Maker” as part of the MAKE IT IN LA initiative of the LA Mayor Garcetti’s Entrepreneur-in-Residence program. Holly, who goes by “Z,” is the founder and chief instigator at Make IT IN LA. Details from the event bio describe Z as a tech entrepreneur, pioneer, and founder of two university innovation centers at MIT and the University of Southern California (USC).
She also served as vice provost for innovation at USC, co-founded Stylus Innovation, and began her career as a manufacturing engineer for the Space Shuttle Main Engine. Click here to learn more about MAKE IT IN LA.
