The Alabama Alpha Chapter of Tau Beta Pi, at Auburn University, hosted “Pi a Professor” from 10am to 2pm on Friday, March 13, with proceeds benefiting Engineers Without Borders.
The California Delta Chapter of Tau Beta Pi, at the University of Southern California, hosted a free pie social on Thursday, March 12. Image below:
On the Northwestern University campus, the Illinois Gamma chapter worked with the University dining team to “prepare pies to be sold on campus. Proceeds will go to benefiting Curt’s Cafe, a local Evanston non-profit.”
The Indian Beta Chapter at Rose-Hulman Inst. of Technology, including Thomas Mulc, IN B 2016, were interviewed as part of a Pi Day story for WTWO-TV (IN). There was also an article about their efforts in The Republic (IN)
At Kansas State University, the Kansas Gamma Chapter of Tau Beta Pi, there was a Pi Day contest on Thursday, March 12. See the image below of the winners.
The Missouri Epsilon Chapter of Tau Beta P, at Saint Louis University, hosted a free pie and pizza in McDonnell Douglas Hall, a Pi Recitation Contest, and Pi a Professor with a donation on Friday, March 6. Click here for a video of the presumed digit contest winner.
