The Massachusetts Alpha Chapter of Tau Beta Pi, at Worcester Polytechnic Institute, will host a Snowball Catapult Contest on Sunday, February 15, in honor of Engineer’s Week. “The goal of the competition is to design a device capable of launching a snowball as far as possible, and do so in as stylish a manner as possible.” The entry fee/registration deadline is Monday, February 2. Justine E. Schaper, MO A 2014, has been hired as a design-build engineer by the Murphy Company (MO). Schaper is a recent mechanical engineering graduate from the University of Missouri-Columbia. She was very active on campus including serving as MO Alpha chapter vice president, as a group leader and mentor for the March Sky Rocket Camp, and as a founding member and president of Alpha Omega Epsilon.
