Engineers Week Activities & Events, February 2014

Engineers Week 2014 is in full swing. Here is a list of activities that Tau Beta Pi collegiate chapters are hosting and participating in:

Monday, February 17
Florida Beta (Univ. of Miami): The Tau Beta Pi Engineering Honors Society would like to invite you to breakfast (9 – 11am). Enjoy bagels on the house!

Tuesday, February 18
Florida Alpha (Univ. of Florida): Moe’s Fundraiser for Tau Beta Pi & Pi Tau Sigma Relay for Life Team!
Michigan Alpha (MSU): Eweek Video Game Tournament (Halo) hosted by Tau Beta Pi.

Wednesday, February 19
Nevada Beta (UNLV): “How to move up the ladder and advance your engineering career” talk with George Youssef (NJ G ’01)
Michigan Beta (Michigan Tech): Eweek cake and egg competition

Thursday, February 20
DC Gamma (George Washington Univ.): “Engineering for Hubble Space Telescope Spacewalks” presentation by Russ Werneth (MD B ’64)
South Carolina Alpha (Clemson Univ.): Food drive to benefit Clemson Community Care. The drive ends Thursday, February 20th.
Alabama Epsilon (USA): Tau Beta Pi Professional Development Workshop 9:00am-4:00pm.

Friday, February 21Girl Day (previously Introduce a Girl to Engineering Day)
Georgia Alpha (Georgia Tech): Engineer’s Challenge (10:30am – 2:30pm) includes Rubik’s Cube Competition and Dominoes Challenge
Texas Epsilon (Univ. of Houston): Engineering Futures session
