California State University, Los Angeles, is accepting applications for the position of Dean, College of Engineering, Computer Science & Technology. A large gift was announced today given to Brown University “to move forward with plans for a new building to house its School of Engineering.” Two of the named donors are well-known technology entrepreneurs and Brown alumni, including Charles H. Giancarlo, RI A ’79. Giancarlo is currently chairman of the board of directors at Avaya. Previously he worked at Cisco Systems, Inc., in several roles, including as President beginning in 2004. Teach For America (TFA) is looking to add a new position of Director of National Alliances on the recruitment team responsible for a STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Math) portfolio and a portfolio of partners to serve AAPI (Asian American Pacific Islander). The application process is open and applications will be reviewed on a rolling basis.

This position will be located in New York City or Washington, D.C. The new Director will work closely with Tau Beta Pi on expanding our TBP/TFA partnership.
