Dr. Stanley Atcitty, NM A ’92, was recently profiled by the Indian Country Today Media Network for being awarded a Presidential Early Career Award for Scientists and Engineers (PECASE). Dr. Aticitty is currently an energy storage systems researcher at Sandia National Laboratories. Read the article

Women in Engineering ProActive Network (WEPAN) recently announced the appointment of five new board members for 2012-13. Two of the new board members are Tau Bates. Visit the WEPAN website for more information

Dr. Karen A. Zunkel – (IA A ’83) is the director of women in science and engineering at Iowa State University. She is WEPAN President Elect.

Dr. Beverly Louie – (CO B ’77) is the director of teaching and learning initiatives at the University of Colorado at Boulder. She is WEPAN Women in Engineering Member-at-Large.
