On the Move: Awards & Industry

Crouch Engineering, a leader in railway and bridge engineering, recently announced several promotions within the company to new leadership positions. Kevin N. Lindsey, P.E. (TN G ’00), has been named Manager of Engineering overseeing the firm’s engineering and project management staff. Derek B. Godwin, P.E. (TN G ’08), is now the Manager of Structures. Assistant professor and biological engineering program coordinator at Montana State University, Dr. Abigail M. Richards (WA B ’99), has been named the 2012 Tau Beta Pi Outstanding Advisor. Currently, Dr. Richards is chief advisor to the Montana Alpha Chapter of Tau Beta Pi.

She was cited for her dedication to the Association, her high academic standards, and her ability to foster leadership. Read the press release

Rau, CA G ’99, recently joined Delphix as vice president of products and research and development. His talents include knowledge of VMware, which make him a hot commodity. Companies in the Valley are in a recruitment battle for software engineers causing them to buy start-ups for the talented engineers themselves.
