The Naval Research Laboratory (NRL) recently announced that Dr. Robert H. Evans, NC G ’70, has received the Navy’s Meritorious Civilian Service Award. He was recognized “for the development of outstanding new innovative techniques, methods, and hardware that over an extended period of time have successfully addressed the U.S. Navy’s future requirements for effective Electronic Warfare capabilities.” Click here to read the news release

Former founding director of the MIT Energy Laboratory and faculty member, David Calvin White passed away this month at the age of 89.

Lt. Col. Andrew J. Muser will be awarded the The Maj. Gen. L. Dean Fox Award, for Senior Military Manager, at the 50th Annual Civil Engineer Awards dinner in February.

Lt. Col. Muser, SD B ’94, is currently commander of the 4th Civil Engineer Squadron at Seymour Johnson Air Force Base (NC). See the full list of US Air Force engineering achievement here
